Air fryer Sesame Salmon {gf,df}

I love a classic, grilled salmon, but every once in a while you’ve gotta spice it up. This recipe was inspired by one of my childhood faves: sesame chicken. However, this recipe uses more nutritious swaps, such as coconut aminos, raw honey, sesame oil, and garlic to achieve the perfect sesame flavor. The sauce is super simple to make, and the air fryer gets the job done in less than 15 minutes! Plus, it makes the salmon extra crispy. This sesame salmon pairs perfectly with just about any sides; you’re gonna love it.

 
 

RECIPE

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 8-10 minutes

Serving size: 4


INGREDIENTS

1lb atlantic salmon

3tbs coconut aminos

1tbs sesame oil

1tbs raw honey

1tbs nutritional yeast

1 large clove garlic

1tsp Trader Joe’s mushroom & co seasoning

2tbs sesame seeds

Pinch of pink himalayan sea salt


METHOD

1. Preheat air fryer to 400° F. 2. Cut salmon fillet into 4 even servings.

3. Mix together all coating ingredients in a small bowl, besides the sesame seeds.

4. Brush the sesame sauce on the salmon and finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and pink salt. 5. Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through. 6. Add your favorite sides, plate, and enjoy!
