Mexican Double Chocolate Bliss Balls {gf,v,rsf}

Spicin' up the blog today with these bliss balls featuring D'vash Organics Cayenne Date Nectar. I love using their date nectars as a natural sweetener for baked goods, marinades, and more. This nectar in particular has a hint of cayenne pepper, which I thought would be fun to experiment with in the kitchen. These bliss balls came out super fudgy, with a little kick I'm sure you'll love. They're packed with nutrient dense ingredients, and there are less than 8 ingredients! I love throwing all ingredients in a blender to get a smooth consistency, but mixing in a bowl will also do. Before you go- these babies are gluten free, vegan, and refined sugar free.

 
 

RECIPE

Prep time: 10 minutes

Serving size: 10-14 balls


INGREDIENTS

1 1/2c rolled oats

2tbs raw cacao powder {heaping)}

3tbs D'vash Organics Cayenne Date Nectar

2tbs almond butter

2tbs nut milk

handful dairy free dark chocolate chips

sprinkle of pink salt


METHOD

1. Add all ingredients to a food processor besides chocolate chips to blend.

2. Once smooth and starting to clump, fold in the chocolate chips.

3. Mix with a spoon and start to toll into mini bliss balls.

4. Sprinkle with pink salt and store in the fridge for the best consistency.
